将弗莱彻 joined Jensen Hughes (formerly Aon Fire Protection Engineering) in 2010 as a summer intern and became a full-time employee in 2012. He has worked on several high-level fire-research projects that brought international acclaim to the firm. He collaborates closely with Jensen Hughes’ West Region code-consulting group to provide innovative design solutions and computer fire and egress modeling for all types of occupancies. His experience includes code analysis, automatic fire-sprinkler system design and testing, high-piled storage evaluation, hazardous-material consulting, retail-development consulting, and smoke-control system design and testing.
教育 is important to Fletcher, and he believes that his education at Cal Poly laid the perfect foundation for a career in fire protection engineering. Fletcher enjoys giving back to his alma mater by staying closely connected with the fire protection engineering graduate program and assisting the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (S消防工程) Student Chapter, of which he is the founding president. He gives presentations to the chapter, supports the student president, 参加招聘会, and participates in the review panel for the S消防工程’s Cumulating Experience Projects. He also takes a great interest in mentoring summer interns and junior engineers. His easy-going nature allows people to effortlessly connect with him and concentrate on the task at hand. He works closely with peers in expanding the involvement of the local San Diego Chapter of the S消防工程, of which he is currently president. Fletcher is a leader and a role model for not only the engineering profession, 还有他的社区.
He and his wife, Lisa, volunteer for many special-needs events and participate in fundraisers. Fletcher strives to maintain a work-life balance through his regular practice of yoga, 和他的两条狗一起散步, 野营, 冲浪, 烧烤, 徒步旅行, and time spent at the beach with family and friends.
